How To Get Rid Of Fungus on Exterior House Wall in Easy 6 Steps

The fungus can be a common problem on outdoor walls of houses, and it can be difficult to get rid of. Fortunately, there are a few simple steps you can take to help eliminate fungus from your exterior house walls. 


How To Get Rid Of Fungus


  1. Check the surface: Identify the problem.

  2. Remove any debris or dirt from the affected area: Start by removing any debris or dirt from the affected area by brushing, washing, and scrubbing.

  3. Apply fungicide: Use Nippon Paint Fungicidal Wash and leave it for 24 hours. It is specifically made for exterior walls. Follow the directions on the label for proper application.  

  4. Let the surface dry: After 24 hours, wipe it off and let it dry completely.   

  5. Repaint the area: Repaint the area to help protect it from further damage. Apply 1 coat of 5100 Wall Sealer or Acrylic 5170 Wall Sealer.

  6. Apply Protective Layer: Apply 2-3 coats of any products from the Nippon Paint Weatherbond range.
